The Department of Peace Operations (DPO) provides political and executive direction to UN peacekeeping operations around the world. In terms of ammunition management, DPO has developed a manual to serve as a basis for member states to use as a reference for comprehensive control measures in the overall storage, safety and logistical aspects of ammunition management.
