The HALO Trust helps countries recover after conflict. Clearing landmines, to save lives, is at the heart of its activities. However, it also deals with unexploded ordnance, from bullets to aircraft bombs, educates communities to keep them safe, builds safe arms stores and systems for securing guns, and works with governments and national security forces to mark, register and destroy state stockpiled weapons and ammunition.
