The United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) is one of the eleven unified combatant commands in the United States Department of Defence. Its goal is to help Member States (by providing training) to deal with issues such as the illegal exploitation of mining deposits, traffic and commercialisation of arms, ammunition and explosives.
